S-shut up I like rainbows xDD So this morning, I was in the shower when I had this teeny stroke of genius. I figured, "why not?" I've personally never seen this particular friending meme before, and I feel that it's a great idea to meet fellow iconists and be able to share ideas and such, as well as being a sort of personal inventory for those of you who've never thought much about your iconing style before. o/

The only rule here is RESPECT. Use it or lose it. ♥

☆ How long have you been making icons for? | Um...I started about three years back, actually, but only started being a serious graphics-maker a little over a year ago 8) ilu Abyss fandom~♥
☆ What do you icon the most/on a regular basis? | Animanga, mostly. Right now I'm into Tales of, Katekyo Hitman Reborn, and D.Gray-man. But I do a little bit of everything, really.
☆ Describe your general style. | I'm still trying to figure myself out, actually. xD But mostly I go for simple but striking though lord knows I fail more than half the time. I also love bright colors and lately I've gone into abusing selective color. Light textures are my bff.
☆ Any iconists you most admire? | Oh god the list just goes on and on. xD But atm my absolute favorites are [info]so_vayne, [info]heartfell, [info]warpuff, and [info]yunie_sigh. And of course, my darling [info]kiku and [info]rayquaza, who I more-than-gladly share [info]nocturnalites with~♥ If you haven't seen their icons yet, please do~you won't regret it!

and *cough cough* I am also of traditional chinese parentage through and through. makes the English major bit QUITE DIFFICULT to go through in this context.

☆ Describe your general style. | asd;ldv';lklk XD; How to describe it... I like it where you can see the character and what's happening. I like it when the colors are bright, so I use selective coloring a lot. I'm also experimenting with photoshop as I learn new things, so sometimes my style moves around a bit as I'm trying to improve.

There's not a lot of creativity going on in my icons, mostly just coloring and cropping, but even then, it's not really that good. XDDDDDD;;; I like exclusion layers and abuse them on a daily basis. For manga, I just slap on textures and only sometimes attempt to color in faces. Hah hah. I'm too lazy.

☆ What do you icon the most/on a regular basis? | I icon anything I feel like. Animanga (mostly from manga though), Video games, Asian entertainment, movies, books, or actors from Reese Witherspoon to Gaspard Ulliel. It's pretty much anything out there. lol. At the moment though, I feel like doing a lot of animanga/video games iconing. :3
☆ Describe your general style. | This is a definite toughy. My style changes a lot, even throughout one icon post. I like to use Hue/Saturation and Selective Coloring on a lot of icons though. And I think my icons are always kind of blue-ish... o__o;
☆ Any iconists you most admire? | [info]enjoyelsilence and [info]tearings are the two I admire most from. Their icons are really beautiful and eye-catching. Not only that, but they're very great people and fun to talk with. Of course there's a lot more iconists I admire, but these two are on my top list.

☆ Describe your general style. | Oh my god, how can I do that, I'm all over the place xD Srsly, I just go into an icon having a vague idea of what it should look like. Then I spam Exclusion, Selective Color and all sorts of textures and come out with a rather odd, experimental style. But people seem to like them, so I keep making them that way! 8D;
