I swear, turkey haunts my dreams now. oAo;; I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving ♥ Everyone who celebrates it, anyway. xP If not, then I hope you're having a good weekend. xDD

So on Friday, my parents and I went shopping and I got the first two seasons of House on DVD *A* OH HO HO~♥ ♥ I spent such a long time at the GameStop, seriously considering getting a PSP so I can play Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology and the bazillion Final Fantasy games, but in the end I didn't. u_u They have to be less than two-hundred for me to buy it, srsly. If it came to that, I would have just gotten a Wii instead. xD

Then I went to go see Enchanted with a couple of my girlfriends. Seriously, I have not seen such a charming movie in SUCH a long time. DISNEY MAKES GOOD MOVIES AGAIN REJOICE!! \o/ Disney does a good job of poking fun at itself without losing its dignity. The musical portion was hysterical, and I really want the soundtrack now. o/ Let's see...they parodied Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, a bit of the Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast, and...King Kong. Yeah, random. But in a lovely way. They casted everything perfectly. Patrick Dempsey was a damsel in distress. 8D I haven't seen that one before. AND IDINA MENZEL!! *A* -fangasm- Holyshit she was so great, even though she was in a relatively minor role. All of us being RENT-heads, we were screaming when she came on and everyone behind us shushed us. It was great :'D I saw Michaela Conlin too, so I gasped loudly and obnoxiously.

...and having now just finished downloading the soundtrack, I'm watching the music video for Ever Ever After and LOL they animated Carrie Underwood. xDD The music video is very charming too. ...Just...the whole thing is CHARMING. Seriously. Go see it--it's a wonderful film, really. Maybe I'll upload a couple of tracks to share the sheer amazingness ♥ ♥

ANYWAY. I have decided that I am completely OVER this. I don't need this kind of stuff in my life right now as my life is going just fine. I'm happy, I have my friends who really and truly care about me, and I am ready to shave off the extra baggage. o/ Seriously. I haven't felt this good in a long time. See, I'm the kind of person who resists change in situations like these because at heart, I am a people-pleaser. It's just that I don't seem to think enough about myself these days. So once I did, all the weight just kind of...fell off. And that's good.

So to celebrate, I made some D.Gray-Man icons. 8DD HAY 'SUP I'M THE GIRL WHO'S ONLY READ UP TO THE SECOND VOLUME. LOLOL I FAIL AT FANDOM. But we're gonna have to wait until I have enough for a good-sized batch. I want to icon some Air Gear, and anything that's...not Tales. xD Because srsly--my last, like, half-dozen batches at chantillyeden were composed of Tales icons. Also hilariously, one of my best friends is now being stalked by someone she thought she had gotten rid of a long time ago. Hope she doesn't find me too. oAo;; Soooooo~yeah.

Also. I almost forgot to mention, but I'm committing suicide, having entered the third round of talesof_battle. I almost wish I didn't because ohgod everyone else is so, so good and the competition is so insanely fierce. oAo;; Wish me luck ♥

I don't want to keep posting my art on this journal because it's mostly spam and most people prolly don't want to see my ugly stuff anyway, so. xP But having a solo art journal is so lonely u_u

I'm so happy so many of you responded to this post! ♥ I've also put up my return address there so you'll know it's from me. :) It's not too late if you still want to receive a letter from me, so reply at will. So this is good--I have a month to write all the letters and I'll send them about two weeks before Christmas. That should be long enough, right? OAO;;

I wish I had more interesting things to talk about today, but I really don't. xD I'm heading over to a friend's house tonight for a sweet sixteen sleepover and so I'm not going to get any sleep tonight. DDx I wish I could bring my laptop or something. And my daddy's coming home from Minnesota today too, but I'm going to miss him. u_u He left for a five-day business trip on Sunday and it's just been my mom, grandma, and me this week. Gosh. Now I kind of know what he feels like being the only male in the family. xDD

I started out with a non-header layout, then went to my Cole layout, then Symphonia, and now this one. Yup, four. :D I shouldn't have to keep count, but...I dunno. xD

Maaaan~I haven't played Magna Carta yet, but it's so pretty. The art is SO GORGEOOOOOOUS and the girls, en general, have massive jugs. Seriously. It's almost disturbing OAO;; But still. It's almost too pretty. I'm gonna stop by my GameStop tomorrow while I'm downtown and see if they have it. Dammit--finish Legendia first, Annay! D<

So I've had a pretty good week and next to no homework at all. OAO;; I guess I should be happy, but it just makes me nervous. xDD I hope everyone's been doing well and I'm looking forward to catching up on all the people on my f-list who I haven't been doing much replying to during the week.

...and yes, I did do another layout-change. Poor Cole didn't even last a month. ;; Here comes more Symphonia-love, at any rate~♥ I've been feeling really down lately, and this is probably the first time in a long time I haven't felt as horrible as I have. Therefore, this layout is rather sunny and bright and I really do love it~plus, Symphonia manga art is gorgeous ♥ ♥ Lyrics are from Aqualung's "Brighter Than Sunshine," by the way. It's a wonderful song, and Aqualung is amazing~

I know a lot of people haven't been at their best these last few months, so this layout is dedicated to all of you. Just ride it all out, guys. I promise it'll get better. ♥
