After reading my f-list, it seems that everyone is getting snow where they are except me. xDD GDDMMIT I WANT SOME SNOW. ENOUGH SNOW SO THAT SCHOOL WILL BE CANCELED TOMORROW AND I'LL HAVE A SIX-DAY THANKSGIVING WEEKEND. \o/

...har har, like that's ever gonna happen. xP I really do want some snow, though. It just makes everything seem less...wintry. I know that sounds contradictory, but snow = warm, fuzzy feelings for me. For the first three days, anyway. Then I start longing for summer.

For our final project in International Relations this year, our class will be partnering with Invisible Children though Schools for Schools to help raise money to rebuild schools in Northern Uganda, a cause that has become incredibly close to my heart. We'll be selling tee-shirts and bracelets, as well as organizing school-wide events to raise awareness and generate donations. Our goal is $20,000. That may seem like a lofty amount, but according to my calculations, if every student in my school donated seven dollars, we would have made it no problem. If you all can, I totally encourage you to get your school involved too--this is a great cause and you'll feel good knowing that you've changed someone's life.
